During August 10-13, the 2017 annual academic meeting of Chinese Society of Neurohomeostatsis and Endocrine was successfully held in Chengdu. Professor Guang-Yin Xu, together with his team members, was invited to attend this meeting.

    The theme of this conference was "Neurohomeostasis and purine signaling". The meeting included workshop, subject reports, special reports, poster exhibition, young researchers’ forum, and manufacturers exhibition. As the chairman of Chinese Society of Neurohomeostatsis and Endocrine, professor Guang-Yin Xu from Institute of Neuroscience of Soochow University made the Opening Speech.
   

    The modern electrophysiological technique training was held in the first day, and “electrophysiological plus” as a new concept was put forward. All the over 30 students from around the country attended this workshop and benefited greatly.
    Professor Guang-Yin Xu made a subject speech entitled “Epigenetic regulations of purinergic receptors in chronic pain”. 

    Associate professor Linhui Wang from Professor Xu’s group also made a wonderful speech entitled “Characterize the influx of subarachnoid CSF into the brain parenchyma by intracisternal infusion with fluorescently tagged cadaverine”. Then, Dr. Ping-An Zhang, graduate Qiya Xu and Xuelian Liu in Professor Xu’s group presented their outstanding posters. Under the guidance of Professor Xu, Dr. Ping-An Zhang and graduate Qiya Xu won the “Excellent Poster Award” in the fierce competition.

   Except for Excellent Youth Forum Award and Excellent Poster Award, the youth committee of Chinese Society of Neurohomeostatsis and Endocrine was also established in the meeting, and associate professor Linhui Wang and Dr. Ping-An Zhang from Professor Xu’s group were honored as the members.
 
   

    The 2017 annual academic meeting of Chinese Society of Neurohomeostatsis and Endocrine was successfully held following the continuous wonderful reports and heated academic discussion in the four days. Professor Xu and his team members harvested a lot, and felt the depth of diligence of the scholars.
